Anyway, it has been a busy week for me. But a very 充实 one. 一个星期就这样过去了，好快！什么鬼assignment都还没开始做。不管啦，再看怎样先。This is what I've been up to for the past few days.

Borneo Trip Day 3

IT was Monday, the day we went to the Damai Beach. CY’s uncle helped us to booked a room at Holiday Inn before we arrived. The journey to Damai took about one hour from Kuching town.
We checked in the hotel and then CY’s dad left the four of us. Soon, Jenny arrived and she joined us in our room. Since we are staying in just a room, which means that I will be sharing a same room with four girls!

We stayed in the room and watched TV until the weather is alright to go to the beach. We didn’t swim but just walk along the seaside and play around with the sand and water. David and his friends also came and joined us for awhile, then they went for dinner.

As for dinner, we hired a driver to bring us to have seafood dinner at Kampung Buntal and it costs RM10 per person for the ride.’ It wasn't a holiday season at that time so there were onli 2,3 tables of customer. Quite emtpy.

After dinner, we headed back to our resort and enjoyed the night view by looking at the stars on the beach. But damn! There were mosquitoes around too. The were A LOT of stars to see until my eyes also gong gong already. Then we went back to our room to enjoy the air-con. I played the Chicken Little game on the laptop and then watched TV...until felt asleep.

Let's Go Europe

JUST finished watching 'Eurotrip' awhile ago. Nop, it isn't a travel documentary on Europe. This is a comedy movie released in 2004 but it was banned in the cinema screens in Malaysia. It was probably due to some nudity and sexual scene in that movie.
Basically. the story is about an American teenage guy, Scott, who thinks that his long time German pen-pal, Mieke, is a guy. However after discovering that Mieke is actually a hot babe, he crossed over to Berlin to find her.

Things went wrong. He and his friends ended up going around Europe before meeting his beautiful German girlfriend to be. This was how it went:

First, Scott and his friend went to London. Met a group of Man Utd fans which brought them to Paris. They met up with another two friends there. While they were queing to enter the Lourve Musuem, there was a funny scene where Scott was fighting with a Robot Man with his mechanical Kung Fu skillin the street. This part is truly hilarious!

They also headed straight for the nearest nude beach. Dissapointingly, there were only males on the beach. So many kinds of sausages could be seen there =p

Next, they went to Amsterdam by train. A Italian pervert joined them in the same cabin. Something happened while the train went into the tunnel. He he.

Stay away from us

In Amsterdam, the drug and sex capital of Europe, some of them found some 'entertainment' and had a wild night before heading to the East Europe. Then they headed to Berlin where Scott could meet up with his pen pal. Unfortunately she was in Rome for a field trip at that time.

So the group flew to Rome and to the Vatican City. Scott was 'elected' as the new pope and he finally met his German friend and confess to her. They then made out in the church.

After years of exchanging mails, Scott and Mieke are able to express their feelings in person

The movie ended up in a happy and unexpected way. Kristen Kreuk (from Smallville) appeared in the first part of the show. And there is also the lead actress from Xena: the warrior princess. It also stars Michelle Trachtenberg from the series Buffy The Vampire Slayer.

By the way, the girl who played the German pen pal, Jessica Bohrs is quite pretty. Worth watching if you like those American Pie kind of movies.

This just reminds me of Inah, a Korean friend whom I known her through the internet. We got a chance to meet up in KL about 3 years back. Really hope I could see her again when I got the chance to visit Seoul.

Sedili

LAST Friday the 1st year architecture students and the lecturers had a trip to Sedili Country Resort, Johor.

It was our the first trip of the course.

After that it was dinner time, the place has quite alot of blood suckers - Mosquitoes!

The next day we were asked to sketch pictures of the surroundings.

Don't really feel like writing so much so I just keep it short and simply this time.

Island Trip (Day 9)

Day 9 (Fri)
Finally, no more flyers to be distributed, no more funny faces/rejections from people, it was time for us to ENJOY!! On that day, KJ and I decided to go Sentosa, the Singapore island resort.

KJ: Which is my cabin?

First we took a cab to Mount Faber and then took a cable car ride to the Sentosa Island. The return-trip ticket costs S$17/person for the glass cabin. From the cable car we could see..

It was a breathtaking view from the top. However to those who are afraid of height and sea, I suggest you to take a bus/car ride to Sentosa.

Once we reached Sentosa Cable Car station, we walked under the hot sun all the way down to the visitor arrival centre. Then took a Sentosa feeder bus back to the top again. -_-" Haha. I didn't look carefully at the map and the surrouding at first.
First we went to the 4D cinema (located at the Imbiah Lookout) and watched the show "Pirates!" starring Leslie Nelson. The ticket was S$16/person. It lasted only 20 minutes but the effects was amazing. Not only you could feel the seat moving and the 3D effect. There were also water splashing, wind blowing and sounds from the seats to make the whole show looked real.

Then we took the luge ride (1st in South East Asia) nearby. It was something like a go-cart but instead on stepping on the accelerator pedal to move, you just have to slide with the engine-free-cart downhill using its unique steering and braking system. It rely on gravitatonal pull to move. I must say that that was the most exciting ride on that day! It gave us the adrenaline rush without a car.

After the ride, a chairlift will bring you back up to the starting point.

Next we walked along Siloso Beach. It lies on the west portion of the southern coast and it has places for beach volleyball and other outdoor activities such as canoeing, skim boarding, mountain biking or roller blading. There are also dining and shopping outlets along the beach.
It started to rain halfway and we ran to a souvenior shop for shelter. Thenwe took the Siloso Beach tram back to where we walked from and when the rain stopped we tried the luge ride for another time.

Next we boarded the Tanjong Beach tram to the Dolphin Lagoon at about 1pm. The ticket to watch the pink dolphin show is S$19.50 (inclusive of The Underwater World Entrance). The dolphins performed some stunts to cheer up the crowd. The MC then called for two volunteers to play games with the pink dolphins

After the dolphin show, we took the Sentosa feeder bus to the Underwater World. For me, it was nothing much. Almost the same as KLCC Aquaria and Langkawi Underwater World. After all, it is still fish. KJ bought a box of chocolates before leaving there.

From the Underwater World, we took a tram to Pahlawan Beach. There was a suspension bridge that lead to another small island off the coast which is said to be the Southernmost Point of Continental Asia, or Asia's closest point to the Equator.

After enjoying the view and breeze from the tower, we walked along the beach back to Siloso Beach. There we changed and went into the sea since we brought our swimming trunks along. Unfortunately it rained after 15 minutes so we had to changed back.

When the rain stopped, we took the chairlift up the hill. The chairlift reminded me of the ice skiing resort from Winter Sonata. =D We tried the luge ride once more, then went up back up again. After that it was time for us to leave the island, since it was already getting late.

I am definately coming back to try this again!

At night KJ's parents were hosting a dinner at SAFRA Mt Faber. It was in a clubhouse and I heard that the dinner costs about S$700!! All of his uncles, aunties and cousins came. And I was the only outsider. Anyway, I still enjoyed myself. The most important thing is, I got to taste delicious food without having to pay a single cent. =p

After the dinner, we went to the bar downstairs and the uncles aunties had a drink. Some were singing karaoke/dancing and some were playing pool. To my suprise KJ dad was good at playing pool. We spent the whole night until 1am...
