Super Sunday

I love the weather today! It is just GREAT. Very cooling and windy! I feel like as if I am in Genting Highland when the breeze came pass me.

They were doing some HIV+ promotion awareness campaign
After tuition (today is the last lesson) went to KLCC for a walk since the weather is wonderful. There was not many people in the park. Maybe the weather was too nice for them to sleep at home. Maybe it is puasa season. Or maybe I didn't see where they were hiding.
The world's tallest man made jagung

Taken from the park over looking at the KL Convention Center

Entrance to Suria KLCC shopping mall
Later went to Kinokuniya bookstore. Looked at some books, flipped through some magazines then wondered around the 2 level store. The books there were nice but expensive.
Something interesting caught my attention at the stationery section. They were selling the Year 2006 Japanese Calender. People actually have to place their order first before they can receive them. And...there are many cover pictures to choose from. Now you know why I said interesting =p I didn't stay there for long as I had to rush home for my lunch. Left KLCC by LRT around 1pm.

Coffee for Free

AFTER only 6 hours of sleep, forced myself to wake up early in the morning for chemistry class. Mr Subra (tuition teacher) extended today's class from 11am to 1.15am

9.00am-10.00am = Fresh and steady condition
10.00am-10.30am = *Yawn* Eye lids were falling.
10.30am-11.00am = Awake. Lucky I had a candy in my pencil case.
11.00am-11.15am = SUPER fresh! It was break time. Bought an egg tart and a Yakult drink each for myself and Lai Kuan. At first she told me that she didnt want to eat but end up finishing them =)
11.15am-1.00pm = Normal state. No catalyst were added thus no action and reaction happened.

While walking back to the LRT station after tuition, I got this drink from Starbucks outside its Kotaraya store. I think they were doing some promotion for the new drink. Anyone know what coffee bevarage is this?

From Sunlight to Shade

TODAY I was late for school (as usual) and was booked by the prefect (not as usual). Lucky I got to enter the class before the teacher did. Just like another normal day, teacher spending the time teaching in front while I was sitting behind doing my revision..and talked to friends when I feel bored. Chemistry class was boring. Physics teacher did nothing. IT (Information Technology) and PA (General Paper) teachers did not enter the class so the monkeys in my class started to party while some pigs were already in their happy fantasyland.
Do not disturb. Pigs sleeping
All school labs' old notice board has been replaced with this new when-take-passport-photo-that-blue-colour-background board. Interesting!

Passport photo available here. 4 shots for RM10

Do not be suprised. These are what the monkeys usually do in the class:

"See if you dare to molest us again"

This is called the Hand Squeezing game

"Gooood boy"

Where's the chair?

After recess the prefects made all the Upper 6 classes stayed on the assembly ground.

The prefects

They wanted ALL the students to line up before going back to their respective classes. However many of the Science 1 students were in the lab so the prefects switched the position of Science 1 with Science 3 (my class) as a punishment.

Last year of school assembly

From top: Science 1, Science 2, Science 3

As you know the Upper 6 students' standing ground are on the terrace from Science 1 to 3 as moving down the steps. Science 1 will get the shade, Science 2 partially shaded and Science 3 fully exposed to the super mighty powerful ultra violet ray of the sun.

Obviously some Science 1 students were not happy about the switching idea

Later the prefects performed spot checks on us.

"Faster give it to me!"

"I say I don't have it la"

The whole thing took us around 20 minutes before we can get back to our class.
THANKS alot prefects!

Days without School

TODAY (12/10/05):

Secreteries wanted
I was called by dad to follow him to his office. I brought some of my revision and tuition notes there because I knew that I'll be bored to death without doing anything there. I am glad that I'll be able to return to school again tomorrow after some days of break (due to PMR and MUET exams). I did not study much during the past few days although STPM is coming in less than ONE year. (to be more precise is less than ONE month). These are what I have done during the past 3 days:

SUNDAY (9/10/05):
Renovation in progress
Started my day by cleaning and tidying up my VERY-MESSY room. I threw away some old junks, found some old books to be sold, captured some cockroaches with thier eggs, cleaned up the dust that has been staying on the cupboard months ago. I also removed two tables which I found very zo deng. After many hours of cleaning, wiping, arranging and lepaking, it was time for dinner...and I haven't finish tidying up the room. Oh I forgot to mention that I accidently felt asleep in the room.

Plu Cafe
At night my fufet friends called for yamcha. We went to a dark cafe which I had problem communicating with my friends in there as I only could hear their voices. The cafe only has oil lamps.

"Hello, can you see my face?"

Maybe oil lamps are cheaper than light bulbs
We stayed there until around 12.30am before we decided to get back home.

MONDAY (10/10/05):
Took a quick breakfast and continue to tidy up my room. After all the vacuuming and mopping, I was glad that my room had become tidy and neat once again. (I'm sure this is not going to last long)

Room to let
After that it was my favourite past time, ONLINE! All this while I had been looking at reading at some of my friends' and other people's blogs. Some blogs did attract me with funny pictures and interesting stories. My net friend, Lee Peng suggested to me that I also should start one since I have interesting moment happening in my life and I always take pictures wherever I go.
I thought it would be wonderful to share moments that is going to happen later in my life. So this is how http://jitty.blogspot.com was born. After creating a new blog I spent that whole day and night exploring, configurating and testing on it.
You see, I was not born that smart.

TUESDAY (11/10/15):
My friends and I went to our friend's mum funeral in the morning. We were late. (More stories here)
Later went for maths tuition in the noon. Kah Lok snapped some pictures and video of Tutor Ong, our tuiton teacher. He was shy and he insisted that we change his face to the Taiwanese singer/artist Jerry Yan if we post his picture. Didn't know that he was so perasan.
Tutor Ong (Left) and Jerry Yan
Returned home at 5.30pm and took a short nap. Then had dinner before continue exploring the wonders of bloging again.
Did I mention about studying/doing revision these two days? =p

A Special Day

TODAY is a special day, not because my friends came over to my house and chit-chat for awhile before going for yamcha. It is because today is our friend's mum funeral day. So my friends (Nicholas, Khong Jin, Perry) and I decided to pay her a visit. The last funeral I attended was my grandfather's, which is about 4 years ago. Anyway, I was told by a friend that the funeral will start at 12pm so we planned to leave my house at 10pm. (btw my friend is just staying nearby my house)

Guess what, the funeral started at 10pm and apparently we were late. Can you imagine people late for a funeral? It's ok if it is a birthday party or a wedding dinner (although we shouldn't be late for that too). I felt somehow felt ashamed (and scared) when reaching her place. However what makes me relieved was that the coffin was not there because I don't really want to take a peep inside. I guess I watched too many vampire movies.
While waiting for our friend and her relatives/friends to return from the crematorium. We chatted with her dad. At first we didn't know that the guy was her dad (thought one of her uncles) until Khong Jin asked him,

'So how is the (deceased) husband?'
'Oh, ME la.' the guy replied.

We kept quiet. -_-'

Throughout our conversation he told us many things. He talked about life and the importance of education. He stressed that the most important is that we give our very best in whatever we do. Also, he reminded us to care for his daughter (my friend) and to keep in touch with her.

Uncle, don't worry. Your daughter will be fine with friends like us.

As soon as our friend and the rest return from the crematorium (about after an hour) a short ceremony was held by this bomoh. I seriously had no idea what was he doing. So we just sat and watched. Then our friend came to talk to us. I can see that she was still strong despite what had happened and I am glad that she was able to smile =) After all, life goes on.

Lastly, my deepest condolence to you (friend) and your family.
