Pet Society Furniture

THERE was a time when many of my course mates were addicted to the Pet Society application from Facebook. I was the one of them as well. Everyday we shower our pets, feed them, bring them for a house visit, go for races in the stadium, buy gifts for them and the list goes on.

If you play that for quite some time, you might find this cute little egg-liked chair shown below familiar. It is one of expensive item selling in the shop.

And two days ago when my workbase were visiting around some show houses around JB, we saw a chair which look exactly like the one in Pet Society.

..except that this one is hanging from the top

Me, Han Chee and Jenny especially were so excited to see the egg-shaped chair and couldn't resist to take as many photos with it. Normally cameras are not allowed in show houses but well, in this case we didn't care much. The chair is waaay too cute and rare!

I can even hug it. Like a dinosaur egg!

SOMETIMES we need to have some privacy. There are many things I would like to blog about but it will be not so nice if I am going to write it here. I guess I have to keep it just for myself and people I feel like sharing with.

Just got back from our dancing class not long ago. Today the instructor (I still have no idea what is his name) taught us all the steps for the Cha Cha Cha dance. That means we are able to dance continuously throughout the music.

However, there are still some that we need to work on, especially on the couple-together-turning part. You could easily mix up the steps especially when the music is fast.

I busy ma (with studio work, Pet Society, Words Challenge, lectures assignment, Who Has the Biggest Brain, Geo Challenge). That's why got no time to wash clothes everyday. =p

One Two Cha Cha Cha

YESTERDAY I went for a social dance class with few of my coursemates. It was Yee Wei, the active girl who initiated this dance thing. Previously I have joined a dancing class before with Khong Jin's uncle but that was just a free trial lesson. Last night there were eight of us so it made up to four couples. For the first class, we learned the cha cha! =)

The dance was scheduled to start at 7pm but slight mishap happened to my car and we were half an hour late for the class. Therefore the instructor asked us to come again and 10.30pm which he specially arranged just for us beginners. That would be an easy start for us rather than joining the existing class.

The dance was not so easy as it looks. First, the instructor taught us some basic step and a while later he moved on to the harder one. After a few workouts all of us were starting to sweat and feeling hot. I thought that the dance studio was gonna have air-conditioned but sadly they only have ceiling fans. Well, for a RM60/month class, I guess that is we could expect.

Yesterday was really an unfortunate day for me. Having flu, late for studio, car ran out of petrol, frustruted with 'species', DiGi sucky line, dinner arriving late and sneezing non-stop while waiting for my food. Suffer man I tell you.

However, after all the bad things which happened to me, I still had a wonderful moment at the end of the day!

It was just...wonderful! ^^

Who Say I Must Be An Architect

FIRST, I was a doctor. My clinic is located in my cubicle at the studio.

Sadly, the clinic closed off after a few weeks cuz there were no business. People always come for free medicine and sometimes mess up the doctor's clinic. And the nurse is always nowhere to be seen.

Now the place has changed into a cafe.

Toast bread, kompiang, milo... Whatever you want. =)

My First Apple Product

I got myself an iPod Nano (third generation) during the Mac+iPod fair in City Square JB two days ago. There will be only 50 units sold per day at a price of RM299 until the fair ends. Seeing it at such a comparably low price (usual price at RM450+), I could not miss the chance of getting one. Moreover, I have always wish to own an iPod since long time ago.

I reached CS around 9.45 in the morning and to my surprise there wasn't any queue at all. I thought that lots of people would be queuing up for this kind of promotion. So I must be either early on that day, or not many know about the promotion yet. Or it could be that the iPod Touch is everybody's favourite now and nobody is keen on getting a nano.

The package come just like that. Like a cassatte.

But anyway I got what I wanted! =) There is only one colour for a 4GB capacity - silver. I am not a song freak therefore 4GB is quite sufficient for me already. Right now there is about 600+ songs in my iPod and it still left about 35-40% of empty space. I have yet to put in any videos because it requires an MP4 format so I need to first find a video converter. Any recommendation?

However there is one thing about iPod. Since it is an Apple product, I have to download and install iTunes in order to transfer my songs from the PC to the player. You cannot just drag and drop like any other MP3 players. iTunes will help to organise each of every song into specific albums before synchronize them all together. Therefore I am now still in the midst of exploring it.

To prevent the iPod from being scratched I bought a casing to put on it. The normal price of a casing would be RM50+ but it is only RM10 during the fair. I quickly grabbed two of them. One silicon (soft) and another cystal case (hard). There are many colours to choose from.

Apple has always come out with cool navigation features to impress people and for this iPod, I like its click wheel ALOT. By sliding my finger across the wheel I can navigate through the menu and to control the volumn. Haha. I always love to syok sendiri with that.

To those who are interested, I've found a link which to show how the click wheel works in iPod.

So I guess it is time to say bye-bye to my old 512MB MP4 player I bought three years ago, which cost about the same price as this iPod.
