I Can Hear the Sleigh Bells Ringing

TODAY is a tiring day. I just got back from The Curve with mum, sis, aunt and family. Christmas is near and the decorations are already up in the mall. Almost every year MidValley does not fail to come out with fascinating Christmas decorations but I think this year The Curve does a nice job too. =)
Sis and cousin. See the tall giraffe at the back?
Cute sculpture

Earlier, we went to the IKEA store next to it. I was hoping to do some changes in my room since I'm back home for almost two months. I got many ideas and inspiration from IKEA. It is really easy how the things in IKEA work. Simply yet nice. Dunno why they always come up with brilliant idea.

The first thing we reached IKEA was to have lunch. There were so many people there.
For the first time I see people taking trolley to order food
Tada! Our food

I wanted to buy a cloth hook for my room cuz the current one is, well, too small and has been there for quite some years already. Nevertheless it is time to look for a new and nicer one.

There were two choices. This one (RM19):

And this one (RM10):
Both look nice and okay to me. I kinda like the first one cuz it doesn't look like a typical hook but it has lesser hook on it. So, I took the second one.

There is also this desk which I quite like. It is a small laptop desk which I thought it would be useful when I'm on the bed. Really really hope to get it. The level and the surface angle can also be adjusted.
I suddenly had the urge to buy this.
but after seeing the price, I had to think twice

Han and Liang's First Time

AFTER our Malacca trip, we've decided to go ice skating at Sunway Pyramid on the following day.
I did not skate for quite a long time already. I can barely remember when was the last time I skate in the ring. Anyway, it was Han Chee and Liang’s first time but they managed to skate quite well in the end. Everything has got its first time right.
I never knew the entrance has became like this!
Skating Academy sounds so classy
The entrance fare costs RM21 per person cuz it is now a school holiday (Normal weekday fare is only RM13) but we could skate for as many hour as we want. Therefore we stayed inside there and enjoy til the dinner time.

The duck pose

Every two hour there will be a resurface of ice so that it won't be wet and slippy. But I find that it is nicer to skate when the ice condition is a little wet. It made the ride smoother. =)

There was once where I couldn’t brake myself and eventually bumped towards a girl and hugged her from the back, unintentionally. One of my leg was kind of caught between her two legs. And she was wearing a short pants. Whoops..
If you notice, each of us wore different pair of glove
To the left
And to the right =p

For dinner, we went Italiannies and ordered the promo set plus a pizza and a salad. It tasted so good cuz all of us were very hungry already. Hehe. Nice food. Nice environment.

Bee Am Double You

I am back from Kuantan. Met some new friends. Real f**kers I tell you. I had some wild moments over there. For the three continous night in Kuantan we've been drinking in the hotel room. I wonder if KL people are going through a lot of stress cuz out of eight of us (including the supervisor), six of them smoke. Man, I almost died suffocating in the room. I thought letting go a fart at that time would be the best smell ever.

However on the other hand, getting a chance to work outstation has a different kind of experience for me. There were six of us in a team of crew, lead by a supervisor. And three female usher which only arrived on the Saturday morning.

We were located at this BMW outlet:
The Auto Bavaria showroom at Jalan Teluk Sisek
Setting up the area on Friday night
That's Gerald and Santosh working on the boards

Setting up the whole thing took us quite some time, from setting up the metal trusses to hanging each of every piece of the board. We finished everything at three in the morning before checking-in the hotel.

During the three days in Kuantan, we stayed in M.S. Garden hotel which was just a few minutes walk from the place we worked. The room where Gerald, Santosh and I shared was quite big. It has three single bed and comes with a huge bathroom.

This is where they all gather at night to smoke and drink
There is a big pool below

It was funny seeing the way Gerald and Santosh spoke to each other. Let me recall one of the conversation:

Gerard: India, jom pegi beli minum.
Santosh: Eh apa India India?! *pissed* Aku ade panggil korang Cina-cina tak?
Gerard: U memang India ma.
Santosh: Aku Christian la.
Gerard: Eh. Itu religion la fucker.
Santosh: Cilaka.

After our work on the Saturday night, the three of us managed to enjoy the free sauna, steam and jacuzzi facilities in the hotel, since it was free after all. =)
Cathering in the showroom where we had our lunch

On Sunday we started to pack all the things and stuff after the showroom was closed at 6pm. It was much easier and faster compared with the day we assembled them. In about two to three hours we finished packing and waited for the lorry to come.

Last night in Kuantan. Non-stop drinking

This is Joshephine by the way. Mixed of Chinese and Portugese. She is currently working and studying law part time. And she just passed her 21st birthday! She was also one of the usher stayed for one extra night with us wherelse the two others back to KL on Sunday night itself.
Josephine and I. She likes to talk.

The Nintendo Wii was one of the game activity in the showroom and we brought back it to the hotel on the last day. The wireless controller is really amazing where you can swing it in every direction.

Lastly, a group photo of the crew members!
